The Outsider

When we started the movie, I wasn't too sure about Michael being the "outsider." The part that clarified this whole outsider thing for me was at the wedding when the Corleones were about to take a family picture, but Michael steps out and pulls Kay into the picture. This also tells alot about Michael's interest in her. Maybe Micael is so into her that he would... step away from his own family for her. Michael did tell her, "thats my family, but not me," so clearly, Michael is not into the family business.
